Reporting a problem
- Tell me which screen or adventure you were on, what you did and what you expected to happen.
- If Settings is reachable, choose Report a problem. Review the text and choose Copy bug details.
- Paste those details into your email. Add your device model and operating-system version if you know them.
A screenshot can help. Check it for personal information before sending it. The game doesn't send a report automatically.
Please leave out passwords, verification codes, card details and identity documents. Don't send a full adventure backup unless it's needed to investigate the issue.
Backing up or moving your adventure
- On the original device, open Settings → Move or back up your adventure → Copy backup code.
- Keep an unchanged copy somewhere safe, then transfer it to your other device using a method you trust.
- On the other device, open the same Settings section and paste the code into Paste a backup to restore.
- Choose Review restore and read the comparison. Choose Restore this backup only if it's the adventure you want. Otherwise choose Keep my current adventure.
Keep a backup of the destination device too if you want to preserve both adventures. A new backup needs the same game version or a newer one.
Other questions
My progress looks different or has disappeared.
Try the exact browser and website address you used before. Different browsers, addresses and app installations can each have a separate save. Progress doesn't automatically sync.
If your adventure is still on the original device, copy its backup and use the steps above. If both the local save and your backup are gone, I may not be able to recover it.
The game is stuck, blank or will not save.
If the game is still open, keep it open while you note the message. Copy a backup if Settings is reachable, then email me. Mention whether it started after an update.
If saving or restoring couldn't be confirmed, keep the original backup and avoid repeated replacement attempts until the issue is understood.
The game asks me to rotate my device.
Battles need landscape orientation. Turn your phone or tablet sideways and check its orientation-lock setting if it doesn't rotate. Menus work in either orientation.
There is no sound.
Check sound and music in the game's Settings, then your device's volume, silent mode and audio output. Some browsers need a tap before audio starts. If it stays silent, tell me which sound or music is missing and which device you're using.
How do purchases and optional ads work?
Payments and live ads aren't available yet in the current version. The planned iOS release has ten free adventures and one permanent purchase to unlock adventures 11–50. There is no subscription. The App Store will show the local price before purchase.
I was charged, but the full game is not unlocked.
Don't buy again while an earlier payment is unresolved. Check your store purchase history and use the Apple Account that made the purchase.
In a version with purchases enabled, open Full game & restore purchase in Settings. Use Check purchase or Restore purchases when available. This restores access, not your adventure progress.
If it stays unresolved, email me the app version and the status shown in purchase help. Please don't send passwords or card details.
How do I request an Apple refund?
For a purchase billed by Apple, use reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple handles the request and decides eligibility. Its refund instructions explain the process.
An optional ad ended, but I did not get the reward.
This applies to a future version with rewarded ads enabled. A reward needs a confirmed completed ad and a saved result. Closing an ad doesn't always mean it was completed.
If the game says the result is uncertain or the reward is still saving, follow its recovery instructions and keep your game data. Send me the exact message if you need help.
Parents and privacy
If the player is under 13, a parent or caregiver should contact me on their behalf. Describe the issue without sending the child's full name, birthday, address, school or photographs.
For a privacy request, use the same email address and put “Babies vs Zombies privacy” in the subject. The privacy policy explains what stays on your device and what I receive if you contact me.
